What’s the economy?

Feeling a bit unsure about what exactly the economy is? You’re not alone. 

According to a 2021 poll we ran with Opinium, less than 1 in 4 UK adults think politicians and the media talk about the economy in an accessible way that makes it easy to understand.

We want to change that.

In 2016 we set up our own economic news and entertainment platform: www.ecnmy.org. It covers all the big economic issues, stories and theories in a way that is fun to read and actually makes sense. You can find out how dry financial stuff like quantitative easing actually affects your life, and hear the economic stories of everyday people just like you.
