In London, communities are already working every day to challenge injustice and imagine fairer futures.

Our vision is to connect with those on the sharp end who are already fighting for change, build relationships of trust, and create spaces where people can come together to explore how the economy shapes our lives, and how we can reshape it.

We’re beginning carefully and collaboratively. That means listening first, building genuine partnerships, and creating opportunities that feel useful and relevant to local groups.

We know real change comes from long-term work rooted in relationships, so our approach in London is to start small, create spaces for shared learning, and then grow the work together with communities.

Focus areas

We’re getting ready to share details of two free in-person events, which we’ve planned based on lots of conversations with others working across the city:

  • Community-led research for economic justice – supporting grassroots groups to use research as a tool for understanding and challenging the economic forces shaping their communities.
  • Economy of care – exploring how we can reimagine London’s economy around care, healing and community wellbeing.

Both strands will offer a chance to connect with others, learn from different approaches, and explore opportunities for longer-term collaboration.

We’ll post more details, including about how to sign up, very soon.
